Since I can’t attend SB19's upcoming concerts, I’ve turned to collecting their PCs instead. It’s time-consuming to line up for concert-sponsored promos, unlike Watsons', where you can just shop online or through the app.

Anyway, I already had Ken and Pablo’s Style 1 PCs but was missing their Style 2, so I decided to order through GrabFood—along with 6 donuts. I’ve done this before, but this time I ordered from a different branch.

It took a while for the rider to deliver, but that was fine since it was drizzling. When I opened my order (which my eldest received), I was surprised to find no PCs included. No message or heads-up from the merchant, and I couldn’t contact them because the chat option was disabled.

I checked with the rider, and he said he could only deliver what was given to him. Aren’t they supposed to double-check if all items are included? He suggested I contact Grab Support. This was my first time experiencing something like this (or maybe I just forgot), but I submitted a report through the app. To my surprise, I received an immediate refund—no questions asked. Although I was a bit disappointed, since I’d need to order again to get those PCs, it was still a pleasant surprise.

A few minutes later, I got a message from a Dunkin' representative asking for my delivery address and the PC I’d ordered. I provided the details, and my A'tin 💙 was thrilled to find not only did they send the PCs I’d ordered, but they also included an extra PC of Stell and an Icy Choco.

After the unexpected rollercoaster of emotions, I ended up with 2 donuts, 2 coffees, 3 PCs, and an Icy Choco—all for free! Huge thanks to GrabFood and Dunkin' for resolving the issue so quickly and going above and beyond. This is definitely how you build customer loyalty!

I just watched this now because I’ve been so busy, and SB19 never fails to lift my spirits. Their Show Break videos are especially uplifting.

I discovered them last year during a tough time when I was feeling really down. Watching their vlogs allowed me to get to know them better, and I admired them not just for their talents but also for their personalities.

Their songs might seem a bit challenging to understand at first due to their unique style, yet once you get into them, they become deeply relatable. Their emo tracks make you feel heard and validated during moments when you feel misunderstood, and they motivate you to improve, unlike other songs that might leave you feeling drown in your sadness.

Beyond being my source of happiness, they’ve also encouraged me to strive for personal growth and to appreciate myself more. That’s why I enrolled in PUP's Open University to pursue my college degree, hoping to complete it this time while balancing work and family life.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve just made my first withdrawal from my TikTok Shop earnings! 🎉 Balancing a full-time job, college, and managing life as a mom of four on my own, I haven’t been able to post consistently. I earn commissions when buyers click directly through my content. The likelihood of making a sale depends on how many people see my posts, the demand for the products, and the competition from other affiliates' content.

Even though my follower count is modest and the earnings are still small, it’s amazing to see some passive income coming in from my content. It’s proof that even with a busy schedule and a smaller audience, there’s potential to earn extra cash—which I can now use for my TikTok budol or "deservekoto" buys. As a solo parent, I have to prioritize my family and essential needs, so it’s wonderful to indulge in something for myself without any guilt!

If you’re considering diving into TikTok affiliate marketing, don’t let follower count or competition discourage you—every bit of effort counts!

I'm thrilled to share that we've received our National IDs today, although they're not complete yet—only mine and my third son's. Surprisingly, even though we registered on the same day, we were placed in separate processing batches, a fact we discovered when checking on https://trn-verifier.philsys.gov.ph/ to see if our IDs were ready for printing. There was a notice about a delay in the physical ID card production, with the option to obtain a temporary printable digital version.

Interestingly, our physical ID cards had been ready for delivery since May 18, according to the PhilSys tracking page, so it took a whopping three months for them to finally reach us. It's snail mail, quite literally.

I made numerous attempts to contact PhilSys to inquire about the status. I was redirected to another department and attempted to call them, but received no response. I also sent an email, which went unanswered. At one point, I even worried that our IDs might have been affected by the fire that occurred at the Lawton Post Office in May. Eventually, I gave up trying to reach the right person for an update.

Nonetheless, the IDs are in our hands now, and we eagerly await the arrival of the next batch.

Was so glad I made the RIGHT move :P

Six days from the last postcard received, came another interesting card from another country.

WIEN
Prater-Riesenrad

This came from Claudia of Vienna. It's the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel. Again, I searched on wikipedia, and found out that this is a surviving example of nineteenth century Ferris wheels, and is still in operation today. Erected in 1897, damaged during WWII and was rebuilt. WOW!

There is an undeniable joy in riding Ferris wheels, a thrill that sweeps over you as the vibrant carnival lights dance around, casting a magical glow. With each gentle ascent, a sense of wonder takes hold, and the world below seems to shrink as you ascend to new heights. The anticipation builds, heart racing, as the cabin reaches its zenith, offering breathtaking vistas that stretch far and wide. The feeling of weightlessness and the gentle sway of the wheel create an enchanting experience, leaving you utterly captivated and yearning for more. For those who love to ride Ferris wheels, it's an extraordinary journey where time stands still, and cherished memories are etched in the heart forever.

I became a member of Postcrossing on December 18, 2008. Since that day, I've eagerly been checking my mailbox, filled with excitement, hoping to receive my first postcrossing postcard.

After almost two months, the long-awaited moment finally arrived, catching me off guard. To my pleasant surprise, not one, but two postcards were waiting for me in the mail. Both postcards were absolutely lovely, one from the Netherlands and the other from the United Kingdom. It was a delightful surprise that made my day!

HARDENBERG

The postcard, sent by Evelien, beautifully showcases the view of the town where she studies.

CROATIA : SPIRIT OF THE MEDITERRANEAN

The postcard, sent by Agi (hope I spelled it right) of Croatia, features a captivating view of the sea. It's wonderful to receive a glimpse of this young European country through the postcard. Agi mentioned that he lives near the seaside, which is really cool!

Receiving postcards from both origins was a delightful surprise for me, as the places were entirely new and unfamiliar. Curiosity got the best of me, and I couldn't resist diving into more information about these locations on Wikipedia. This postcrossing idea is truly captivating, as it opens up a whole new world of discovery, allowing me to explore and learn about fascinating places I never knew existed before. I'm already falling in love with this wonderful journey of exploration!

Oh common!

When I was a child, I wished that my parent had given me other name, like Jessica or Elizabeth (sounds familiar? Names of the Sweet Valley twins lolz), or yet a unique one or a second name perhaps? There’s nothing wrong with my name, it’s just that it is so common, that almost always; I have other classmates I share the same name with. So, our classmates called us by our surnames, too bad, my surname sounds like a type of underwear, yeah whatever. They would intentionally mispronounce it.

When I got married, I acquired the last name of my husband, of course. Bad thing here is that my husband’s surname is so very common, plus my name is common, equals, me sharing the same name and surname with lots and lots of people. What’s wrong with that, you ask? Nothing really, if you share name with famous people whom had good reputation, what if otherwise?

Back when I was single, getting NBI clearance would just take me one day, or even shorter. But after I got married, I had to return the next day or a day after, because my first name and surname matches the names of people who have or had cases, of which I don’t know. Arrgh! Anyways.. thanks that I still have the unique surnames of my dad and mom.

Speaking of same names, I’ve been doing research on genealogy; it’s been years actually, regarding my family or ancestral tree. I usually do research on my dad and mom’s surname on google. I’ve found one person on friendster, because it’s really rare to have that surname (surname of my dad), the possibility of him being a relative is really high. So, I added, told him why I’m adding him. We were able to exchanged messages, and were a little surprised to know that our fathers share the same full name. The thought of us having the same father had come to mind when I first read the message that his father is -insert here my dad’s name-, if he hadn’t told me the middle name, I would have really thought the possibility of us not just only being relatives, but also us being half siblings.

Parents should think of more unique names or should give two names, just so to make it unique. You wouldn’t want your children to be having sharing names with criminals, do you?
